TROY, MI – Dave Trott, candidate for Congress in Michigan’s 11th Congressional District, today received the endorsement of the Michigan Association of Police Organizations, which represents over 17,000 public enforcement officers in Michigan.
“Michigan’s law enforcement officers put their lives on the line every day to protect our communities and I am deeply honored and humbled to have earned their support. Our law enforcement officers deserve the utmost respect and gratitude for keeping Michigan families safe. I will always stand with them and fight for solutions that protect our law enforcement officers and the communities they serve,” said Dave Trott.
Since being elected to Congress, Dave Trott has fought for policies to support Michigan law enforcement, including legislation to help police departments purchase life-saving bullet-proof vests and standing against the Obama Administration’s attempt to confiscate armored vehicles from Southeast Michigan police departments.
